Auto finance is what I do for a living and you need to find a large dealer that advertises Special Finance and go talk to the manager they should be able to explain your options.

I have had customers go through the same thing that you are and you are doing a lot better than many people in your situation.

The reasons for the calls from what I have found out is that no one has noted this on your account on their computers, you talk to them but they dont log the information into the database.

Call back and get a name first then ask them to note this on their computers and the calls will stop, good luck and have a nice day.

Start a new credit file. Go to the Social Security Office and request a 'Tax ID Number' and apply for your loan with it. You may want to check out edenpress .com for books on this subject.

You CAN get a decent car loan, even with bad credit. I’ve done it, but you’ll have to look around. That’s one of the BIG mistakes people make…just taking the first offer that’s given to them when they go to the dealer. Be smarter than that.

WARNING: DON’T GO TO BUY A CAR WITHOUT HAVING THE LOAN FIRST. The auto dealers will eat you alive and give you a crappy rate. Shop around with lenders who specialize in bad credit car loans. It’s a better option, you don’t have to take what they’re offering if you don’t want it, and it’s better than dealing with the car dealer’s people.

It won't really affect your score as much as you think-I would find the car that I wanted and then ask about their financing programs, believe me they will try as hard as possible to get you a loan-that's the only way they will get paid for the car!
